The NCSEA Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Consider making a donation to help advance the profession.

The NCSEA Foundation strives to advance the science and practice of structural engineering by supporting NCSEA, the state SEAs and practicing structural engineers. The Foundation funds initiatives to:

  • Enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Enable research to advance technical and code-related development
  • Create opportunities for young professional growth
  • Provide grants to SEAs for innovative initiatives
  • Grow awareness of the profession and its contributions

The qualifying initiatives that the Foundation funds are also intended to aid in the advancement of the science and practice of Structural Engineering as well as promote engagement within NCSEA’s Member Organizations.  The Foundation itself is supported by specialty ticketed events throughout the year as well as individual and corporate donations.

The NCSEA Foundation currently supports and funds two programs:

The NCSEA Grant Program has been developed to assist Member Organizations (SEAs) in growing their Association and promoting the structural engineering field.

The NCSEA Diversity in Structural Engineering Scholarship Program was created to award funds to students traditionally underrepresented in structural engineering  (including but not limited to Black/African Americans, Native/Indigenous Americans, Hispanics/Latinos or Spanish, Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and other people of color, those with disabilities, veterans and LGBTQIA+).

The National Council of Structural Engineers Associations Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
